I've been proud to be an affiliate for Bonnie Christine for the last three years, as she launches her annual course on surface pattern design. I'm recommending Bonnie's course and her classes because they are high quality, well organized, they deliver the education and support they promise, and when you do the work they are life-changing.
I don’t make recommendations lightly, and I don’t make them often.

While on the East Coast hunting for a house, last February, I got to sit down and talk to her about the ways her words and classes have impacted my life.
Beyond teaching Illustrator techniques and sharing business wisdom, her words have a way to get to the heart of the matter and remind you that you can do hard things.
You can and should dream, and you can craft a career that you love.
There is room and you can thrive even in an industry that at times seems over saturated.

After our third baby was born, I took on the role of the income provider in our home, while my husband came to be the stay at home parent. The new role challenged me, and I felt I was over my head at times.
It was then that I came across Bonnie’s classes and was introduced to surface pattern design. Applying surface pattern design to my workflow helped me become more relevant to my industry.

The year I took immersion course is the year my income started consistently growing.
There are many things that can weigh in ones’ life, but I can honestly say that taking the immersion course has been life altering for me. It might sound over the top, but it’s true. It’s part of our story. It empowered us to be a family with a stay at home parent, and now to be the family that follows its dream and moves across the country.

Honestly it would be hard for me not to recommend Bonnie, regardless if I affiliate for her or not, considering how the education I got through her Skillshare classes and the immersion course has shaped my work and business and what it has meant for me and my family over the years.

You can research, find, gather and piece together the information scouting the web, Youtube and other places, if that’s your jam. Or you can start with Skillshare, if you are not sure about this learning path or career.
